A Christmas Carol

The students of St Mary’s Holy Faith Secondary School Glasnevin are proud to present, A Christmas Carol, on Thursday 21 December at 7:30pm for one night only.

Chloe Halpin, 17, is proud to play the lead role of Ebenezer Scrooge. The production team are delighted with their discovery. This is Chloe’s first role in a school play. Chloe’s only previous acting experience was in a play in Saint Brigid’s primary school called “Natasha’s Nightmare” where she played the role of a zombie. She has really grown into the role even though she has found it challenging at times: Scrooge hates Christmas – Chloe loves Christmas; speaking in an English accent and trying to use a deep male voice has proven to be challenging too. Chloe says that she will have to use L’oreal face cream to get rid of all of the wrinkles from all of the frowning she’s had to do for this role. Screen Shot 2017-12-12 at 22.05.19

The play is perfect to get both young and older people into the Christmas spirit. Tickets are still available. But hurry! Contact Ms. Morgan, Ms. O’Mahony, Ms. Murray or Mr. Montague for tickets.  A-Christmas-Carol
