Yesterday afternoon our senior Camogie team came out on top of a thrilling encounter in their semi-final against Our Lady’s Grove Secondary School in Goatstown. Both teams worked really hard and traded scores for the first half. Some excellent teamwork and determination was displayed by St Mary’s but the teams could not be separated at full time. Extra-time beckoned and the girls dug deep to ground out a hard fought one point victory. Another difficult game is expected in the final against either Loreto Beaufort or Loreto Swords but St Mary’s students are up for the challenge. Mary’s abú!
