First Years Make Clay Models Of The Work Of The Sea

This year’s annual trip to Howth to complete Leaving Certificate fieldwork was a great success.  Our fifth year students were fantastic and completed all tasks with enthusiasm and efficiency.  There were even some interesting fossil finds! Well done girls.  This is such an important part of the course as it is worth 20% of the final grade.

First year girls in 1 Wren and in 1 Robin got their hands dirty in April making clay models of the features of coastal erosion. After they made, painted and labelled their models they made notes about their feature for their classmates and then taught them about it. The results made waves!
