Traffic flow is being ground to a standstill at peak times due to cars being double parked and parked illegally outside the school and on the opposite side of the road when students are being dropped off and collected.
An Garda Síochána has received serious complaints and has contacted the school in relation to this ongoing health and safety hazard. They have asked us to alert parents/guardians to the situation and to to issue the following warning on their behalf:
From Monday 11th November onwards there will be regular spot checks by members of An Garda Síochána and owners of cars parked illegally will receive a ticket in the post once their car registration has been recorded.
